Cancellation Policy
RESERVATION POLICY
Payment is required to guarantee all reservations. Each adventure is subject to specific age, height and weight requirements. You and your party are responsible for knowing these requirements prior to making your reservation. If you book a reservation and a member of your party is outside the requirements of the trip you have reserved, you are not entitled to a refund if that party member cannot participate. We will work with you to select a more appropriate trip, if possible, for all to participate in. We strongly recommend consulting with all members of your party regarding specific requirements and calling us for our expert advice prior to booking your trip if there is any question of age, height and weight requirements for the adventure you are considering.
We have separate cancellation policies for Groups of 10 or more people versus Individual bookings with 9 or fewer so please read carefully and understand the policy that applies to your specific reservation. We also offer a Worry-Free Cancellation Plan for the most flexibility in cancelling or changing your plans.
WORRY-FREE CANCELLATION PLAN
Selecting our Worry-Free Cancellation Plan will allow you the greatest flexibility to reschedule or refund your trip should issues arise.
- The WFC Plan costs 10% of your ticket price (before fees); this must be purchased when booking your reservation and it can be found as an “add-on”. The Worry Free Plan window is the extra time window allowed for cancellations due to purchasing this plan.
- If you are confident of the date and time, you can choose our standard cancellation policy
- Individual bookings of 9 or fewer people can adjust or cancel their booking until 24 hours before their trip start time
- Groups of 10 or more people have until 7 days prior to their trip to make any adjustments or cancellations
- If you are late, we will do our best to reschedule you for our next available trip, but we cannot guarantee availability
- If you choose to cancel within the Worry Free Plan window, then the entire cost of the trip, minus the plan cost, will be refunded to you
- If you cancel prior to the Worry Free Plan window, then the entire cost of the trip, including the plan cost but minus the $5 cancellation fee per person, will be refunded to you
- No-shows are not eligible for refunds
STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY
If you are confident of the date and time, the default for all purchases is our standard cancellation policy. The policy varies depending on the size of your group.
Individual bookings of 9 or fewer:
- Bookings with 9 or fewer people require at least 7 days’ notice for any cancellations for a full refund, minus the cancellation fee to cover part of booking costs ($5 per person)
- Cancellations within seven days of your trip are not eligible for a refund
- Minor changes or adjustments can be made before that time if space allows
Group bookings of 10 or more:
- Groups with 10 or more people require at least 30 days’ notice for any changes or cancellations for a full refund, minus the cancellation fee to cover part of booking costs ($5 per person)
- Cancellations made within 30 days of your trip date are not eligible for a refund
- Minor changes or adjustments can be made before that time if space allows
DELAY POLICY:
On rare occasions it is necessary to delay the start of an adventure or temporarily suspend an adventure once it has begun. This is first and foremost for your safety, but we also know you are looking forward to the activity and we do not want to disappoint a single guest by cancelling the trip. We reserve the right to delay the start of an adventure up to 45 minutes due to weather conditions that may affect your safety. If we are unable to resume the adventure, we will either reschedule your trip for a later time, provide you a credit for a future trip or refund you.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY:
Your trip time is your meeting time and when you should arrive at Colorado Adventure Center! Please arrive by that time and check in promptly at our basecamp. Arriving early is essential as it allows proper time for your check-in, trip preparation, safety instruction and tending to any last-minute details. If you arrive later than your meeting time (even if it is due to no fault of your own) and we are not able to adequately prepare you and get you on your scheduled trip, you will not receive a refund. We will do our best to work with you to reschedule your trip, if possible, but no refunds are permitted.
A FINAL NOTE
Please make sure everyone in your party has read and understands the reservation requirement, specific cancellation policy, delay policy and late arrival policy as this will keep misunderstandings and cancellation disputes to a minimum. Weather is not a cause for cancellation since our trips run rain or shine. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone judged to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and no refunds will be given. Please be aware that pricing is subject to change without notice.
