CAC Gives Back
Opening the Outdoors for Everyone
At Colorado Adventure Center (CAC), we believe adventure has the power to inspire, empower, and transform lives. But for many, financial barriers make outdoor experiences out of reach. That’s why we’ve joined the Pledge 1% movement—a global initiative where businesses commit 1% of their revenue, time, or services to giving back.
Through our CAC Gives Back program, we pledge 1% of our annual revenue to provide free and discounted adventures to underprivileged youth and nonprofit organizations, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience the thrill of the Colorado outdoors.
Our Commitment: Adventure for All
Each year, we donate tens of thousands of dollars worth of rafting and aerial adventures to organizations that support underprivileged and marginalized communities. Whether it’s a first-time rafting trip down Clear Creek or an adrenaline-pumping zipline adventure, these experiences create confidence, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.
Who We Support
We prioritize groups that align with our mission, including:
✅ Nonprofit youth organizations in Clear Creek and Gilpin Counties
✅ Schools serving low-income or underprivileged students
✅ Organizations supporting physically or mentally challenged individuals
✅ Nonprofits focused on marginalized or underserved communities
How We Give Back
Our contributions include:
🌊 Free or heavily discounted rafting and aerial adventure trips
🎟 VIP adventure passes for fundraising efforts
Requesting Support
Do you know a group that could benefit from an outdoor adventure? We welcome applications from nonprofit organizations and schools that meet our eligibility criteria.
To apply, email us at groupsales@coloradoadventurecenter.com with the following details:
✔ Organization name & mission
✔ Contact person & role
✔ What kind and how much of an in-kind contribution or donation you are requesting
✔ Date, time, and preferred activity
✔ Number of participants (youth & adults)
✔ Explanation of how this experience will benefit your group
Application Window: We review requests from January through October and prioritize early- or late-season (March to early June and mid-August to October) and weekday (Monday to Thursday) adventures. While we can’t accommodate every request, we do our best to support as many groups as possible.
Why It Matters
Adventure is more than just fun—it’s life-changing. For many of the individuals we serve, this may be their first time experiencing the outdoors in this way. Whether they’re conquering whitewater rapids or soaring through the treetops, these experiences build confidence, resilience, and joy.
By taking the Pledge 1%, we’re ensuring that the Colorado outdoors is accessible to everyone—regardless of their background or financial situation.
