TRANSPORTATION RECOMMENDATIONS

The Colorado Adventure Center is conveniently located 35 miles west of Downtown Denver. We work with a variety of transportation companies to meet your group’s needs and budget.

Important note: There is a large, multi-year CDOT highway project between Idaho Springs and Denver. We recommend monitoring for traffic holds and allocating more time for your drive to CAC.  You can sign up for updates and review more information here: https://www.codot.gov/projects/i70floydhill

Do not Uber or Lyft! Our Idaho Springs Base Camp is out of Uber and Lyft’s service area. They will drop you off at our base camp but it is not likely your party will be able to hail a ride back.
