Whitewater rafting in Colorado is a great way for families to reconnect, for youth to learn outdoor skills, and to encourage teamwork among corporate groups. Contact Us to receive a group planning packet to help you organize the Colorado Adventure Trip of a lifetime!
Organizing a group rafting trip is a lot of fun, and the group organizer packet can make it easy. Whether it’s a team building trip for your office, a family get-together, a wedding, church group, youth group, scout group, or just a group of friends & family, Colorado Adventure Center can help make your group outing a successful one. We can handle groups of 100 or more with the attention to detail you expect from a small, family-run company. We can also help you organize group zipline tours, biking tours, horseback rides, fishing trips, and kayaking.
Colorado Adventure Center has shown groups of diverse backgrounds the excitement and beauty of Colorado’s mountains and rivers. Such groups and organizations include the pop music sensation NSYNC, MCI, The Bass Family Reunion, The Jenson’s Wedding Party, River Reach Youth Initiative, Boy Scouts Of America Troops all over America, Faith Bible Church of Colorado, Fountain Valley High School Senior Class Outing, Young Cattleman’s Association and many, many more.
Rafting is a natural team building activity. Teaching 6-8 people how to work together and paddle in unison to get a raft through a day full of rapids definitely requires teamwork. Colorado Adventure Center can put together special team building events with emphasis on communication, leadership, and cooperation by combining multiple activities with rafting, including ziplining, high ropes and challenge course facilitation, rock climbing, biking, horseback riding, and satellite navigation scavenger hunts. Call us for information on transportation from Vail, Summit County, and Denver – 877-947-7238
Colorado Adventure Center serves a deli style or fresh grilled lunch on all full-day trips. Special meals, from sandwiches to gourmet catered buffets, can also be arranged.
Group discounts are available — up to 30% or more depending upon the size of your group. Remember that with a group, an advance deposit is necessary to secure any dates, times, and any special requests your group might have.
A 50% deposit is required to hold a group reservation and subject to a 14 day cancellation policy. If your group or any individual in your group cancels outside of 14 days of our scheduled trip time, you will receive a refund minus a $10 per person processing fee. Full payment and the final count of participants is required 14 days in advance. If your group or any individual in your group cancels within 14 days to 48 hours of your scheduled trip time, you are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds for no-shows or cancellations with 48 hours of your scheduled trip time. Remember to choose a trip that suits your entire groups’ needs and abilities. Our office staff would be happy to answer questions that may help you determine an appropriate trip for your group.
To help you with the task of putting together a large group rafting or zipline trip, please call our office staff. Make sure everyone in your group has read and understands the cancellation policy; this will keep misunderstandings and cancellation disputes to a minimum. Weather is not a cause for cancellation since trips leave rain or shine. However, high winds and lightning will be grounds for cancellation on the zipline courses. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone judged to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and no refunds will be given.
River trips, zipline tours, mountain biking, and fishing are adventure sports and involve a degree of risk on the part of the participant. Although we take every precaution to ensure an enjoyable trip, we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged articles or personal injury. We require that you acknowledge these risks by reading and signing a liability release prior to departure. All minors must have a properly completed liability release form to raft, zip, or bike. Choose a trip within your group’s personal limits.
