At roughly 9,100 feet above sea level, Frisco sits in the heart of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. In addition to exploring historic Main Street and taking a side trip to the Lake Dillon Marina, the town is an excellent starting point for many Colorado activities.

 Frisco Information

Imagine a place that boomed with the Colorado gold rush, dropped in population to 18 people, then sprang back up with the rise of tourism and outdoor adventure. No need to imagine, that place is Frisco. And there’s a reason why the county now draws some 3 million visitors each year – blue skies, miles of hiking trails, paved bike paths, Gold Medal fishing water,s and horseback riding make it a place everyone wants to stay.

For those not as interested in outdoor pursuits, Frisco offers more than adventure. Don’t forget to explore the shopping on Main Street, the shores of Lake Dillon and the many historical sites throughout town. A real Rocky Mountain town, Frisco is the perfect place to begin your next Colorado zipline adventure.

Today, one of the Colorado Adventure Center’s basecamps is stationed in that small mountain town. It’s one of our main locations and the starting point for rafting the Blue River and Clear Creek as well as biking down Vail Pass. Pre- or post-trip, take some time to relax at our Main Street location, which has amazing views throughout Summit County and beyond. While you are there, don’t forget to take a stroll down Main St. and check out the little shops, boutiques, and restaurants that make Frisco so unique.
