Zip-line

Get the thrill of a lifetime on a zip line across the Colorado River!

Zip-lining, Zipping, Canopy Tours, Zip Zip Zipping. You’ve heard of it but are you ready to try it? Colorado is the perfect place to get a first zipline adventure under your belt. And if you’ve already done it, we know you’re hooked on zip-lining so we have some unique experiences for you to consider. Zip across the Colorado River over a stunning canyon or soar high above treetops through a historic gold mining area. We can’t wait to get geared up and take to the skies with you!

Colorado Adventure Center offers ziplining in Idaho Springs, only 35 minutes from Denver, and in Glenwood Springs further west. Both of our zipline courses are in the mountainous central part of the state, easily accessed by Interstate 70. Our zipline courses are complimented by Colorado whitewater rafting rivers very close by — you’ll zip right over them — so it’s easy to raft and zip in one day with us.

Our zipline in Idaho Springs will take you zooming across Clear Creek, where we also run exhilarating rafting trips for all ages. This zipline course is built on several historic mining claims in the little town of Idaho Springs — where gold was first discovered in Colorado. Zipping here offers great thrills with towers up to 65 feet high. Learn about mining history, fly high above the treetops on a canopy adventure and enjoy fun Clear Creek — one of our favorite and most lively river sections in Colorado. For more on the zip-lining, rafting and combination trips we offer in Idaho Springs and Clear Creek, visit our Zipline Idaho Springs page.

Our Glenwood Springs ziplines further west on I-70 between Vail and Aspen, soar across the Colorado River and above majestic Glenwood Canyon, then paddle through the exciting Shoshone Rapids section of the Colorado River below. Our basecamp for these trips at Glenwood Canyon Resort is conveniently located alongside the river, where we offer cabin rentals, tent camping and even a restaurant and bar for your end-of-day enjoyment. It’s a perfect place for families, with a climbing wall, ropes course and even the Leap of Faith trapeze jump to add to your high-flying Colorado zipline adventures. For more information on our trips, including combination packages that allow you to raft and zip all day, visit our Zipline Glenwood Springs page.
